Integrity

The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. - Prov 10:9

Theres alot of bad talk about Christianity in our society, especially here recently in my area of ministry (CHH).

Its true, one way or another our bad choices come to light. Ive expirienced this first hand.

But it seems the higher your position in Ministry is the more media coverage it gets.

Any thoughts?

  1. "To whom much is given, much is demanded." Just like society expects cops not to break the law, society also expects pastors not to sin. This is simply unrealistic. Those in ministry must understand their lives are apart of their ministry, meaning, transparency must exist. I believe transparency is one of the most feared things in Christianity because people don't want others to know the real them... In the same way some candy coat their whip, some Christians choose to candy coat their walk, myself included in some areas.

    In light of CHH, there are so many contributing factors: more artists means bigger chance for imperfections to rise up...CHH may choose to report on the transgressions where in the past, we only had one or two main websites and if they didn't cover it, few knew. Lastly, I think a lot of people but artists on a platform and when they don't meet the standard, they personally feel betrayed. Out the door man, this is why love is so important...love those who fall, it will help them back up. Love those who will fall, it will give them a reason to keep standing...

  2. Jeremiah 17:5-8
    5 This is what the LORD says:
    "Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
    who depends on flesh for his strength
    and whose heart turns away from the LORD.

    6 He will be like a bush in the wastelands;
    he will not see prosperity when it comes.
    He will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
    in a salt land where no one lives.

    7 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
    whose confidence is in him.

    8 He will be like a tree planted by the water
    that sends out its roots by the stream.
    It does not fear when heat comes;
    its leaves are always green.
    It has no worries in a year of drought
    and never fails to bear fruit."
